The annual Bridge the Gap 4.5 mile Charity Walk took place on Sunday 14th September.

Bridge the Gap is a lovely opportunity to see the sites of Cambridge and its colleges and at just 4.5 miles, it’s something the whole family can enjoy together.

This year saw the introduction of many new features including some fantastic entertainment on Jesus Green and along the route. Walkers had the opportunity to learn about Arctic expeditions at the Scott Polar Research Institute Museum, speak to the Cambridge Blue and Green Badge Tourist Guides about the history of Cambridge and its colleges and participate in some fun family activities.

The sun was shining on us and a fabulous day was had by all to help raise money for three fantastic charities: Teenage Cancer Trust Appeal, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Press Relief – the News Community Fund.
